Hi, I am Jerry. I’m twenty-five. I currently live in Sweden, but I was born in France.
Although I am studying business management, I am tech-savvy: Since three I have had a computer by my side; By ten, I was booting my first Linux machine, and by sixteen I was buying my first Macintosh.
Along with my brother, we started to code apps in Basic in our early years. Then we moved to several other languages, such as Visual Basic, C and C++. Although my brother still uses C#, we gradually shifted away from compiled languages to web technologies. I now know HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & CoffeeScript, AngularJS, Ruby, Lua and a few others. My brother is now a Software Engineer in the US working in Ruby and Node.js. He’s awesome so check him out.

I own or have owned many Apple devices: a PowerMac G5, an iPod mini, a first generation iPod Touch, a 15-inch PowerBook G4, an original iPhone, a unibody MacBook, a 2011 Mac mini, an iPhone 4, an iPad 2, a third generation iPad, an iPhone 5 and an iPad mini.
I am also a passionate photographer. I own a Canon 5D Mark II, a Sigma 50mm ƒ1.4 EX DG lens and a Canon 70-200mm ƒ4L telephoto. I also own a Fujifilm X100 for casual photography. You may find some of my photographs over at 500px.com/jvzr.
Lastly on the hobbys’s side, I really enjoy watching movies. You will find all the movies I’ve watched since September 23, 2011 on my Letterboxd profile. I estimate having watched more than 1,400 movies at least once since 2009.
I have travelled to the West and East coasts of the United States and many European countries. Someday, I want to leave and visit Argentina, Chile and Peru, and ride down the Andes on a motorcycle with nothing but my bike, a bomber jacket and my camera.
I would like to later settle down near near Vancouver, British Columbia, a place I have only seen from across the border but that I imagine enchanting. Canada seems to be the next best step after France and Sweden.
