Hakim El Hattab has posted an interesting experiment on Twitter, and by interesting I mean stunning.
I’ve spent literally dozens of minutes this morning trying out a few combinations and came up with the results below. In every case I’ve set the number of characters to 100,000 and let the scale at 1.0; only the set of characters was changed: •, #&§8$£%€, -—–_=, iIl!|, -—–_=iIl!|, <>x^v\/, (){}[], abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz, and 1234567890.
For the record, I’ve used a picture of Spielberg’s upcoming “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (2011)”, adapation of Hergé’s famous comic.
Co-produced by both Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson, with original music by John Williams, and starring the voices of Daniel Craig as Red Rackham, Jamie Bell as Tintin, Gad Elmaleh1 as Ben Salaad), I couldn’t be any eagerer to watch it!
