The Mothership Has Landed

Steve Jobs has presented yesterday his visionary plans for a new Apple Campus in Cupertino.

The project consists in building a gigantic, spaceship-shaped campus holding up to 12,000 employees — 1, Infinite Loop holds only 2,600 — while having vastly more landscape, an insanely high number of trees, and a fairly greener output over the environment. Ambitious yet so close to today’s imperatives towards our planet.

Interesting too is Steve’s apparent uneasiness while facing the Cupertino City Council. I feel like he wanted to get in and out quickly, and that he considers the whole hearing blathering — not in an arrogant way, mind me!, but in a shy way: just as if Steve is back to being this introvert child.
