Steve Jobs Resigns as CEO
According to Reuters on Twitter, Steve Jobs would have just resigned as CEO of Apple. He would serve as chairman and Tim Cook will replace him at the head of Apple.
If true, I couldn’t think of a better time for Jobs to leave the position1: he hasn’t been doing too well health-wise, whereas the company he founded and directed is at its apogee. Moreover, Tim Cook is a proven worthy replacement.
Fare well, Steve.

Come to think of it, the timing strongly resembles the iPod mini’s: leave when you’re globally acclaimed. ↩
