Adobe to Drop Development of Flash for Mobile

This has made big news last week: Adobe has finally acknowledged its efforts to bring Flash to mobile devices were pointless and that HTML5 is now the way to go.

I’ve been living without Flash for years now, avoiding it altogether, so it’s neither good nor bad news for me. What’s great however is that Adobe plans to contribute more intensely to HTML5, and its years of experience in the field of animation et cetera could really help make this technology even greater.
