Canon EOS 5D Mark III

One of the best digital cameras out there just got updated.

But, as John Gruber:

If I didn’t already have the Mark II this is the camera I’d buy.

and Marco Arment:

If my 5D Mark II broke tomorrow and I wanted to replace it, I’d definitely get the Mark III. But I don’t think most Mark II owners, including myself, will be compelled to upgrade yet.

…point out, although it’s a wonderful new camera, the $3,499 price tag makes it hard for owners of the current Mark II to justify the upgrade.

I am certainly not planning to upgrade unless something bad happens to my Mark II.
