Our tests follow numerous complaints now cropping up about how hot the new iPad can get while doing processor-intensive tasks, such as gaming or downloads.
So, the iPad 3 gets hot. What’s ‘hot’ though?
From the dictionary:
hot/hät/ Adjective:
- Having a high degree of heat or a high temperature.
- Feeling or producing an uncomfortable sensation of heat.
So, ‘hot’ is linked to ‘uncomfortable’. Okay.
From Consumer Reports, again:
When it was at its hottest, it felt very warm but not especially uncomfortable if held for a brief period.
