Elon Musk’s proposal for fast, cheap and efficient travel isn’t as mind-blowingly cool as I wished but it’s still rad nonetheless.

There aren’t too many practical applications — as Elon himself outlines — but it’s a godsend for the train line currently being constructed between L.A. and San Francisco.
